Wadim K. came to Germany when he was 6, as a refugee. At 18 he was torn away from his family and deported to Latvia, his parents’ last place of residence, a country completely foreign to him. Five years later Wadim K. committed suicide. DEPORTED, NOW DEAD (original title: TOD NACH ABSCHIEBUNG) is the updated, revised, made-for-TV version of the award-winning feature-length documentary WADIM.
