Christina Rims has seen a lot of nastiness: abused children, dysfunctional families, drug-addicted parents. As a family care midwife, she’s not the one who’s around when babies are born. She is supposed to help overwhelmed mothers learn to be a mother. The feature BABIES IN DISTRESS (original title: BABYS IN NOT) accompanies the midwife for over 6 months and shows the demanding life she faces day in, day out.
