In Germany, 600,000 tons of electrical appliances and equipment land on the junk heap each year. A project in Darmstadt proves that this can be done differently, run by people who experienced the fate of being a reject on the job market in their own lives. The feature REPAIRED INSTEAD OF JUNKED (original title: REPARIERT STATT AUSSORTIERT) portrays a facility that could be a nationwide role model, but instead the project struggles to survive.
