The Renewable Energy Sources Act was intended to forge ahead with the expansion of clean energy and make the German electricity market more equitable. Yet the ones who primarily profited from the large sums of money have been calling the shots out in the countryside for centuries: wealthy farmers and landowners. The documentary DUBIOUS MONEY WITH WIND (original title: WINDIGES GELD) describes the bitter flip side of the turnaround in energy policy.
